The Trinity Bellwoods area has been a formative part of my life over the last 15 years. From chilly winter dog walks, to late summer birthdays, the park has functioned as an outlet to balance busy weeks and get outside.
For a long time I have admired the variety of public / street art projects that appear overnight. After moving out of the neighbourhood in the past year (and returning to Toronto for the summer), actualizing an art project to share with the neighbourhood became a necessity.
#DiscoBell is a parting gift for a neighbourhood that has left me with so many good memories, as well as a thank you to dance, which has been transformative to my growth over the past 3 years.

During the day, nature is highlighted by the sun reflecting into the canopy.
At dusk, solar-powered spotlights turn on and add a playful prompt to dance.
